Hi,
seeking help to reduce our ISE licensing cost, actually we are out budget and we planning to order ISE licenses less than what we required, and looking for efficiently using the same, is there any way, i mean if we reduce "user idle timeout" is it reduce our license consumption?
any kind help appreciated...

A Cisco ISE user consumes a license during an active session. Once the sessions has ended, ISE releases the license for reuse by another user.

Hi Abhishek,
thanks for your reply, i already read that article which you have sent, it gives detail ISE consumption of licenses, but i need to know if USER join our wireless network and his device IDLE for about 30 mins or 1 hour then its waste of our 1 license, how to tackle this to utilize that license smartly.?
i found "User Idle timeout" setting, but i don't know what possible difference it makes to licensing, if anyone has any information regarding this setting, please share.
