Hi,
I have a problem with jabber for android, my device is a samsung s4, when i receive a call the audio is poor for the first 3 seconds. There is a parameter to customize this delay? on iphone i haven't this problem, audio is perfect without delay.
Best regards

You need to check whether voice packets are correctly classified by Samsung S4. If it does not get voice priority that traffic is treated as best effort. I know iPhones at least classify RTP traffic to UP-5 in wireless frames, not sure about samsung.
Here is some of the testing I have done (bit old, but should give an idea)

I know the thread is a bit old but wanted to comment. In recent testing with the Motorola mc40 with a particular voice app, which will remain nameless, it was discovered the app was not marking. When the mc40 was in scan mode the unmarked voice packets were buffered causing jitter.
Had the the frames been marked. The mc40 would honor the marking and trigger the frame

Hi,
This is due to Samsung has less marking on voice and signaling traffic compare to iPhone.
