Hi,

I have a WLC 5760 v 03.06.08E and an virtual MSE version 8.0.150. the MSE is registered in Prime with no issues but the NMSP status is Inactive on both WLCs. I've tried syncing, removing, checked NTP, nothing works.

The logs on the MSE are:

July 14, 2020 6:35:03 PM ESTErrorTHROW Handshake failedcom.aes
July 14, 2020 6:35:03 PM ESTErrorTHROW Handshake failedcom.aes
July 14, 2020 6:35:03 PM ESTErrorError in ConnectHandler(endPoint) <LocpSessionTarget mode=CLIENT><LocpEndPoint status=HANDSHAKE totalBytesSent=3983368 totalBytesReceived=2410536><LocpEndPoint.Key host=10.55.65.10 port=16113/></LocpEndPoint></LocpSessionTarget>locp

Any suggestions? this is very frustrating.

 - For starters check platform-version compatibility notes and or system requirements, also check this thread :

Sorry I had a big typo on the title. The WLC is a 5760 which should work since it was working with the MSE 3355 appliance but it died and there was no backup config there unfortunately. I know it was running the same version 8.0.150 of MSE.

I did check that thread and doing all that and nothing.
