Cisco NIC 340 promicious mode

Do I have a chance to put my cisco nic 340 into promicious mode. I like to see frames running through the wireless network (managament and data frames).

Ethereal and SnifferPro do not show any frames running on top of my nic. Using a smc nic, everything is fine.

The Cisco drivers don't natively support promiscuous mode. I have seen some references for using the Open Source drivers.

Typically most sniffer software vendors actually have their own driver that works with Cisco cards that has promiscuous mode enabled.

For example, Sniffer Pro on Windows uses their own driver with Cisco Aironet cards. But anyway, the Cisco driver will not work for sniffing or monitoring.
