A colleague on the Educause wireless LAN listserv shared this webinar with the group. It covers various best practices, code recommendations, and bug fixes for 9800s that anyone can benefit from, not just schools. I found it helpful and thought I'd share.

There's a link to a PDF of the slides in the description, and I also attached it to this message in case the link breaks in the future.

Thanks, @eglinsky2012.
We have dumped 17.9.X and have made the jump to 17.12.3 (including the ROMMON upgrade).
To everyone else, make sure to follow the "80% rule" or face the consequence, like CSCwi26553, CSCwk05030 and much, more more.
WNBU is investigating our claim that a 9800-80 with >3000 x APs will memory leak (see below).
NOTE:
1. Before 16 May 2024, there were 2800 x APs.
2. On 16 May 2024, we added >200 x APs.

Any updates on this? Does the memory leak persist? Which version of ROM MON were you running before upgrading?

Hi @jason panks,
The memory leak is persisting, i. e. Increasing/climbing.
On 28 June 2024 (last date of the screenshot), the memory utilization is at 44%. Today, 09 July 2024, it is at 47%.
ROMMON version before 16 May 2024 was 17.3.1r.
WNBU is trying to replicate this and I have not received any updates.
