   - It it has crashed (only) ; then the administrative usernames  and credentials are not changed , if the device is not recovering then try a power cycle first ,

Thanks for the suggestion. But my problem is I am unable to login my controller using my login. But able to login the admin username and password. How to change the password.

Wireless controller default user id admin and password admin

  - I would presume that if you have GUI access , you can go to the admin account and change the password  ; if in the end a factory reset or an installation from scratch is need ; then check this document :

If your Cisco 2504 wireless controller has crashed and you're unable to connect using your username and password, here are the steps you can follow to retrieve or reset your credentials:

Steps to Change the Default Password:

1. Login to the Controller:

- Connect to the controller via the console or through a web interface if it is accessible.

2. Access Global Configuration Mode:

- Enter global configuration mode using the following command:

config t

3. Change the Password:

- Change the password for the admin user:

username admin password <new-password>

4. Save the Configuration:

- Save the changes to the controller’s startup configuration:

end
write memory
