Hi to all,

I've reading a bit about this and i'm a litle confused.

We have a 5508 Wlc with many 1140 aps. And i would like to know how many clients can handle each access point.

On this device there's a param under  wireless-802.11a/n 802.11b/g/n - general - Clients (1 to 75),  that i don't know if the quantity depends on this.

Is that right? 75 clients are the maximum clients permitted at the same time?.

Thans for your help and sorry for my english.

That is a threshold setting and will not actually limit the amount of users to a given AP.  The max users will vary.... in the past it was said that 15-25 or something like that was fine.  Cisco has also mentioned 20-24, but these are for AP's not using 802.11N and only have a 10/100 fast ethernet port.  I would still say 15-25, but it depends on your users bandwidth.  I have seen 30+ and users have no complaints since they just use it for email and web.  I also had an install where the limit was 3-4 devices per radio becuase they were uploading large video files.
