Hello team,

we have enabled  the CWA for the guest access through ISE, access points are in flex connect /local mode whether changing the host name of  wlc will affect guest users.

Personally, i do not see any issue here changing hostname cause any issue? is this HA environment? AP high availability?

Yeah WLC is in SSO mode.

Changing the host name doesn’t affect anything and has nothing to do with CWA or anything else. You just need to make sure that your tools, dns and or certificates installed on the controller reflect the name change. That’s when you would have to install a new one or generate a new cert and reboot.
