Aironet 1100.
Running win2k Radius+ PEAP + certificate + wep.
We can authenticate fine if the user is already authenticated into the computer system. He can log off and log back in, provided he doesn't reboot and connects just fine.
But from a reboot/boot, the user logs in and eventually fails to authenticate to the ap. No IP address.
What am I missing??
Thanks in advance!

What ACU NDIS and Frimware versions ? Do you have the windows Hot fixes installed ?

Firmware ver 12.2(11)JA
Windows server hotfixes and sp (except for sp4) all applied including those relating to 802.1x
WinXP clients are all up-to-date with updates and latest drivers for wireless Dell TrueMobile (external/internal) cards
ACU-I need cisco cards for this right? So I am not using ACU
We did install a CA and client and server certificates. Same problem.
So far in our current config, we would need to log into our wrkstn via cache credentials and then access the wireless...thus no drive mappings and such via login scripts.

Yes for ACU you need Cisco cards
Best bet from here is to debug both on the AP and the ACS server when you reboot to see why it is failing authentication
