Folks,
My wireless is deployed as flexconnect mode. I have 3 branches and each of them has their own VLAN, and the four SSIDs is the same. At my branch A, the vlan is 52. Vlan 52 is not reachable to my WLC but the AP at that branch can ping vlan 52 gateway. But the clients which connect the AP cannot gain their IP address from my DHCP server which is in VLAN 52, where did i do wrong? By the way, the dynamic interface I created in my WLC cannot ping the VLAN 52 gateway, either.

I would make sure that vlan 52 and vlan 53 is configured on all the switches and being passed on the trunks between the switches also.

Okay.... at your remote site you have vlan 52. Is vlan 52 for your AP's, for your clients, or used for both?
If you connect a laptop to a switch that is also in vlan 52, does that get an IP address?

vlan 52 is for both my APs and my clients, my APs use the static IP address from 192.168.52.4 to 192.168.42.9 and the rest is for the clients. And if I connect my laptop to a switch that is in vlan 52, I can get the IP address.

If your laptop can get an IP address then the wireless clients should also. So can you post a screen shot of how you have the FlexConnect vlan mapping on the AP.

I'm at home now and I cannot connect the WLC for now.
My FlexConnect vlan mapping is like:
SSID VLAN
ChinaPnR-User 52
ChinaPnR-Guest 53

You are connecting your laptop to a switch out at the remote site correct?

i connect my laptop just at the remote site. the vlan is used for the wired users for a while.

The FlexConnect is connected to a trunk port allowing all the vlans you need? I need to see how your FlexConnect AP's are configured in order to help you here as it seems like there is a configuration issue.

Tell me what vlan is for the access point out at the remote site and all the SSID to VLAN's that you have or want to have.

yup, AP's are connected to a trunk port which allows vlan from 1 to 4095.
Take my AP-01 as a example:
IP:192.168.52.4
Netmask:255.255.255.128
Gateway:192.168.52.1
Trunk VLAN:52
Mode:Flexconnect Mode
VLAN Mapping of the AP:
SSID VLAN
ChinaPnR-User 52
ChinaPnR-Guest 53
ChinaPnR-Mobile 53
ChinaPnR-VIP 53
AP Groups:
Group name: KK7F
And I add the AP's of that floor
For the WLANs:
WLAN ID WLAN SSIDInterface/InterfaceGroup(G) SNMP NAC State
1 ChinaPnR-User KK7F-VLAN52 Disabled
2 ChinaPnR-Guest KK7F-VLAN53 Disabled
3 ChinaPnR-Mobile KK7F-VLAN53 Disabled
4 ChinaPnR-VIP KK7F-VLAN53 Disabled
For the Flexconnect Groups
I add all the APs of that floor and give them a ACL for the web authe. That's all.
And for the WLANs, I have already selected the "FlexConnect Local Switching" in the "Advanced"
For my dynamic interfaces, I just type in the information of vlan 52 and assign the physical port

Okay here is the thing. Your AP is in vlan 52 and that is your native vlan. So your mapping for SSID ChinaPnR-User should be vlan 1.
Try that as that will work.

Thanks for your help. But how about other SSIDs, vlan 53 does not work, either.

I though you mentioned only vlan 52 is the issue?
Thanks,
Scott

By the way, at the branch which has the WLC, my AP is also configured like that. My AP is in VLAN 8 and my mapping for my SSID ChinaPnR-User is vlan 8, it works fine.
Should the site which locates my WLC has the subnet of vlan 52, too?

That is different because the AP is in local mode and you have defined a dynamic interface for vlan 52. SO local mode AP's are different than FlexConnect when using local switching.
Did that dfix your issue?
Thanks,
Scott
