Hi Folks

when u update the image on the WLC then u have to Force restart on all LAP in order to get the new image? or it automatically detect and kick all associated users to get new image from the controller

If all your controllers have the same new firmware, the WLC will "push" the new built-in WAP IOS out automatically.

1) You update the WLC with the new code

2) You reboot the WLC

3) The Aps drop off

4) The rejoin the controller and the controller pushes the new code to the ap

The kicker is that only 10 access points get upgraded at a time. Unless you have a 5508 ..

There are many types of troubleshooting docs in CCO. just do a search for what type of troubleshooting you need to do... WLC, Mobility, AP registration, etc...
