I want to gradually deploy my wireless network with Meraki Access Points, and I want to know if there are any complications with deploying and propagating the same SSID with my Catalyst Access Points. What points should be considered?

First of all, make sure you don't have any rogue policies enabled. Since you can't configure a mobility group between the WLC and Meraki, this prevents the APs from being detected as a malicious rogue.
Also, pay attention to channels and signal strength to avoid generating interference. This is for the same reason mentioned above (not being able to configure a mobility group between the two).

Ideally change them as a wave, i.e. start in one part of the building and change neighbours next rather than one on the other side of the building. It'll help with devices moving from one of the Meraki APs to the Catalysts and vice versa.

HI,
also watch DHCP and ARP behavior too, especially if both AP types share the same VLAN.
Seen a few cases where Catalyst kept old ARP entries after roaming, causing short drops before the refresh.
