Connection Problems with Intermec Clientadapter and a chain of Repeater

Hi,

my customer have a Wireless LAN with one Root Access Point and a chain of 2 Repeater Access Points. All Access Point are AP 1200 Serie AP's with IOS 12.3(2)JA2.The customer use terminals with Interec Clientadapter

And now the Problem.....

The terminal with Intermec Clientadapter roamed from the root via the first Repeater Access Point to the last Repeater Access Point. If you "Ping" a Network Device from the Terminal,it gives no problem.

If you go back toward the Root Access Point, you can ping the Repeater Access but you can't ping a Device behind the Root Access Point.

Is it a problem with the "other Vendor" Clienadapter??

Or what is the Problem??

Since you have mentioned that you are able to roam from the root access point to the repeater access point there can be no issue with the configuration. But i would suggest to perform the following checks to make sure that the guidelines are followed.

1. Check if the repeater access point has a 50% overlap with the root access point. This is mandatory and has to be followed.

2. Check if you are able to ping the two repeater access points from the root access points...
