Connection to Internet

I have Thinkpad T40 laptop with integrated Cisco 802.11b Wireless (MPCI)card. I'm able to connect to my company Wireless LAN and then to the Internet.

When I take my laptop home and try to connect to my home wireless network I can see and access my other home network computers but for some reason I can not connect to the Internet. Someone told that there is something to do with Proxy settings/cache at my work.

Does anybody know what could be the problem?

Thank you

Darius

Could be either your DNS settings or web browser proxy settings

compare the DNS settings on a machine that works at home to one that doesnt.

Also check the proxy settings in the options of your web browser
