Controller Configuration Backup

Using PI 2.1, the background task Controller Configuration Backup is configured to take WLC backups and upload them to FTP.

Is there any way I can specify the path for the config upload?

Hi Glen,

WLC Configuration backup:

For Controller configuration backup, there is no option on the Cisco Prime server to specify the path.

But, on the remote FTP/TFTP server, you can choose the directory as to where you want to store your controller configuration backup.

Cisco Prime Repository:

However, Please note that there is an option to specify the path for remote repository (FTP/SFTP/TFTP)  which can be used to backup.

Hope that answers your question.

Cheers,
VB

Roger that, so there's no way to specific the path from Prime, it'll need to be done FTP server side.
