Covering adjacent aisles with the same AP.

Guys,

If I don't expect high client density, would there be a reason why I shouldn't cover three adjacent aisles with a directional antenna for each aisles, and all three antennas connected to the same AP?

Thanks in advance!

That is to extend the antenna 150' away from the AP, however if you run multiple antennas, they need to be not more than three wavelength apart or else diversity is broken.

No. That will not work. You can't extend the antenna further than 3 wavelength. If you want coverage in three different isle then you need three AP's.

Scott,

Thanks for your feedback! If that is the case, why would cisco offer 150 ft cables?

Here is the link. you can do a page search for "Cisco Cables"
