Coverting Aironet 2800 Series Access Points from lightweight to Autonomous

Hi Community Members.,

I wandering if any has a solution of converting Cisco 2802i from lightweight to Autonomous.

In addition what additional software do i require to achieve this ?

Starting with the 2800/3800, there is no more "autonomous".  The AP can be converted into Mobility Express whereby the AP becomes a "mini" WLC (with limited functions) and also acts as an AP.

Hi,

There is no autonomous image available for 2802 AP.

Now its Changed to Mobility express (AP+WLC). You should convert capwap to mobility express then you can run this AP as standalone.
