Create two different VLans on one AP 1832I.

Hi,

I have a question about how to set up different Vlan on one AP 1832I.

I only have an AP 1832I, and I connected it to my C2960 switch, and I'd like to set up two Vlans which one for office and the other one for guest. My question is how to make it working?

Hi,

Here is the sample Configuration of switch-port:

interface Gig0/20
switchport mode trunk
switchport trunk native vlan 3
switchport trunk allowed vlan add 3,4,5

info: Vlan 3 is the management vlan for AP.

Vlan4- Office user

Vlan 5- Guest

you will need to set up the port to which you connect the AP as a trunk, then define both VLANs on your AP.

Thanks a lot to your reply. I am not sure where is the problem. I've already set up the port which connected the AP as a trunk. But the AP seems not working after that.
