Devices may not delete from PI 3.0 - errors in ifm_inventory.log

Symptom:
When Deleting a Device from Inventory, an error is thrown indicating "Delete Device(s) Failed: . Please see ifm_inventory.log to get initial information.

The ifm_inventory.log file will show the following exception:
com.cisco.ifm.inventoryserviceexception.InventoryException: Device

Deletion Failed. Invalid Device Address. Device does not Exist.-INVENTORY_SERVICE_122
at com.cisco.ifm.inventoryserviceimpl.InventoryServiceImpl.deleteDevice(InventoryServiceImpl.java:2109)
at com.cisco.ifm.inventoryserviceimpl.InventoryServiceImpl$DeleteDeviceTask.call(InventoryServiceImpl.java:6866)
at com.cisco.ifm.inventoryserviceimpl.InventoryServiceImpl$DeleteDeviceTask.call(InventoryServiceImpl.java:6794)
