DNA-C and ISE Using Guest Access with Sponsored Guest - 9800-40 WLC

Hi All,

Going through the SDA-fabric SSID creation on DNA-C (Latest release), I am trying to configure "Guest Access with Sponsored Guest" and the only options available in DNA-C are self-registration and hotspot portals????.

I know self-registration is similar to sponsored but how does this sit within DNA-C regarding provisioning, policies and profiles, is this portal type supported in fabric wireless?

Do I go through the process of creating a self-registration portal on DNA-C, this gets pushed to ISE (3.0) and the 9800 WLC, then configure the portal accordingly for sponsored guest access? Anyone done/tried this?

Cheers,

How to Ask The Cisco Community for Help

Hi, Balaji,

Thanks for the reply but it doesn't really help, my question was why does DNA-C only give 2 options for guest portals?

Hotspot or self reg????

Cheers,

@Jay233 did you get an answer to your question? Have you tried using the self-registered portal on DNAC end and change the ISE part to use sponsored guests?
