DNA Center Intelligent Capture

Dear Cisco Community,

I am wondering why the Intelligent Packet Capture feature on DNA Center is not enabled by default on all managed WLAN APs that do support this feature.

Is it just because of the limited number of APs, that can be simultaneously enabled for Intelligent Packet Capture (1000) or are there any severe drawbacks associated with enabling this feature on many APs?

Does anybody here have experience with an environment with a few hundred APs enabled for Intelligent Capture?

I ran it on around 100 or 200 but always forgot to turn it on for new deployments. I never had any issues but my APs were spread across 10 controllers. 
You can enable it globally and it will push the config to the controllers that have the APs that can run it.
