Hi all,

I'm trying to upgrade the WLC OS from 7.4.110.0 to 7.4.121.0 for my customer's site in Brazil. The WLC has currently 21 APs, 10 x AIR-LAP1142N-A-K9 and 11 x AIR-LAP1262N-T-K9. I was able to predownload 7.4.121.0 to the 1142 APs, but not the 1262 APs.

I ran the following debugs and the results are the same for all 1262 APs:

(BRSER-WC01) >*spamApTask7: Sep 12 15:43:29.030: cc:d5:39:5d:34:80 BRSER-LAP007: *Sep 12 15:43:27.692: %CAPWAP-3-ERRORLOG: AC rejected image data request

*spamApTask4: Sep 12 15:43:48.757: cc:d5:39:5d:71:80 BRSER-LAP008: *Sep 12 15:43:48.481: %CAPWAP-3-ERRORLOG: not receive read response(0)

I have not run into this issue with other 1262 APs.

I'm at a lost here. Any feedback is appreciated.

Well that code is supported for the 1260's:

As far as why the AP failed to pre download, have you checked the flash on the AP to see if there is enough space.  I know for sure that the 2602's have an issue with the pre-download and just rebooting the WLC and allowing the 2602 to download manually is the only way to go.
