Dual-Band Antenna vs. Single-Band Antennas

For the best practice and performance of an AP 1562E: What do you recommend, using 2 dual band antennas or 2 single in 2.4 + 2 single in 5G?

Let's start to say there is no single answer to your question, it totally depends on use and environment.

for best throughput (office clients) use only 5GHz, band,

as the 2,4GHz band is much congested with nearby AP's, and 5GHz has larger max throughput.

but 2,4GHz is less influenced by walls etc, so 2,4GHz has (in most cases) a larger coverage area.

a general setup could be:

- create one SSID that is only enabled for 5GHz for you corporate workstations on all AP's

- and another  that is activated on 2,4GHz only on limited number of AP's for other clients

How are you using the AP ? 

tell a little bit more about your usecase, like if you are using mesh uplink or you have a fiber or copper connection to AP, what type of area you are trying to cover etc.
