Enabling Monitor Mode for Slot0 on Cisco AP 3802 using WLC9800

Hello All,

I am trying to configure monitor mode for the Slot0 only on Cisco AP 3802. But it seems there is no command to do this. I am using C9800-CL-K9_IOSXE, Version 17.12.3

Appreciate some help and advice on this.

Hello,

Thanks for your reply. However, I already saw the link previously and that command is to enable the monitor mode for the whole AP (slot 0 and slot 1). However, my goal is to only enable slot0 for the monitoring mode for the 3802 APs, while slot1 will still be using for 5Ghz client serving.

WLC#ap name <ap name> dot11 dual-band radio role manual monitor
WLC#ap name <ap name> no dot11 dual-band shutdown
