Enabling the Console of a Cisco WLC Standby Device in a Cluster

How can I resolve the 'Standby console disable' error I am getting when I run show commands in the CLI of the standby node after SSHing into the device successfully? I need to access the Standby device and be able to successfully run show commands. Thanks!

  Why ? The idea is that you do that on the active wlc , which will sync changes to the standbye (too)

If it is a 9800 in HA following may help

redundancy
 mode sso
 main-cpu
  standby console enable

Hello Ishan,

When you enable Standby Console , it will not impact any services 

Your will see below during normal setup standby console disable 

WLC1-stby# Standby console disabled

when you enter the command 

WLC1(config)#redundancy

WLC1(config-red)#main-cpu

WLC1(config-r-mc)#standby console enable

After applying this command you notice you have enabled Console on Standby WLC 

WLC1-stby#sh ver

Cisco IOS XE Software, Version 17.03.06
