I teach a class on wireless communication
The students have erased flash and now we are going to load an IOS image, however, the ether_init command responds with the following message

auto-negotiate: detect remote fault
ERROR: fail to bring ethernet link up
we cannot load the image with tftp and our ethernet port seems to be dead.
Any ideas
