get the error "windgs.exe the procedure entrypoint?GetActiveProfile@CCARDX500@QAEHAA PROFILE@@@z could not be located in the dynamic link library ACRD10sm.DLL "

when launching the ACU

uninstalled / deinstalled etc..

Check the following bug out seems similair to your problem. When you launch ACU on a Windows CE 3.0 device, the following message appears, "Cannot find Aironet Client Utility (or one of its components). Make sure the path and filename are correct and that the required libraries are available" (CSCdw60793). This caveat is resolved in client utility release 2.22.
