Dear all.
I know that is a very uninteresting topic, but i need to ask...
I have a 5508 wireless controller, and 96 AP`s on it.
There is some way to export to a file the information of AP names and IOS version of them?
Thanks.

HI Daron,
As per my knowledge u can do it.
u can check via wlc cli, with this commad: show ap inventory
Another way is:
The easiest way to get the report from WCS/NCS/PI.
Just AN iDEA: Download a WCS trial version and you can pull an inventory report.
It is easy and quick to get the inventory list of APs from PI.
Procedure:
Login to PI then go to:
Report>Device>Inventory
Then click on new.
Choose report type : AP's
Just below that customized tab is there, click on that and choose the data field to include.
Then RUN

Hi Dan,
Getting a simple list of APs with there IOS version is easily accomplished with the CLI command
show ap image all
Note: You can put it into Excel in that form quite easily by simply pasting it into a blank workbook and using the "text import tool"
If you want more info than that, Sandee's post above is pretty comprehensive.
