External Directional Antenna /w High gain (6dbi) ?!?!?!?!

Hi Experts,

My assumption is using External antenna for AP like 3500E/3600E series with antenna such AIR-ANT2566P4W-R= (directional) can make me cover more longer distance but narrow beam. This can make client Rx (receive) and correct data.

But could client Tx (transmit) back to AP /w correct data /w no huge TCP retransmission ?!?!?!?!

Any idea please share, Thanks.

Well, what you need to look at is the antenna on the client device. Just because the signal from the AP can be heard from the client, the signal from the client might not reach the ap. Don't use antenna gain to increase coverage for clients.

Hold on.  You cannot use the 2566 on a 3500E.

Sorry indeed im ordering 2566 with 3602

By the way, it can make some longer distance for client. what s use case of this directional ant?!?!

It's primarily used for point-to-point bridge.
