Failed license installation at index:0: New count is less than existing coun

Hello My Friends

Now，I have a problem,

We have a WLC5508 with 25 AP capacity,but we want to adder 5 APs capacity to the WLC5508.

When we try to add the license to WLC5508,show the error as below:

"Failed license installation at index:0: New count is less than existing coun"

So，what's problem with it?

This is the license file's info:

Hi,

Are you sure its an adder license and not a base license!!! That can be the issue.

Have you also rebooted the WLC? If they provided you or if they sold you a base license, you will have to get that fixed first. An adder license is what's required.

Hi

 Make sure the license  information like Serial Number  is correct.

 Download the file again, this can be a corrupt file. Add to the WLC using an reliable network to avoid any transfer isso.

 Lastly open an license tac if you think everything should be ok.

I have resolved the issue,it's wrong licence with 5 AP,it should be 30 APs,after cisco license team give me the correct license,it run well.
