find radio mac of ap on wlc 4402

when i do a show client detail xx.xx.xx.xxx.xxx. on my wlc 4402, i see where it says

AP MAC Address................................... 00:1c:57:43:86:e0

Client State..................................... Associated

Wireless LAN Id.................................. 1

BSSID............................................ 00:1c:57:43:86:e0

is taht mac the radio interface of teh access point i am associated to? how can i fidn the mac of teh radio of teh access point? I know this is different than teh ethernet mac of the access point

Not sure if you're trying to avoid the GUI, but you can easily find it there. Click the Wireless tab, find the AP you want, and the Ethernet MAC is listed there. Clicking on the AP will give you the Base Radio MAC.

If you want individual radio MACs, click the Wireless tab, then on the left click the appropriate Radio type. It lists all APs with that radio type, along with the MAC address.

I don't know the CLI command off-hand, so sorry about that. I hope this helps :D

Like Jeff mentioned, the GUI is easier. If you want to find the mac of the radio, then use this cammand and look for BSSID:

show ap config 802.11a

show ap config 802.11b

I need to export the Base Radio MAC data for a WiFi audit. What's the easiest way to get the Radio MAC for all lightweight APs in the system?

I used to run a script that would SNMP query each AP, but that doesn't work with the lightweights anymore.
