flex connect

If the flex connect device drops and Active Directory is down for whatever reason, can you still authenticate via WPA?

And then when The link is back, can it switch to AD with no user interaction?

On site with a. Customer.

No... if your wlan is setup for 802.1x, and the connection to radius or AD is broke, you will not be able to have any new authentication.  There is no switching to WPA psk if that what you mean.  But if your wlan is wpa or wpa2 psk, then the device connection will continue to work.

Thanks,

Scott

No., SSID doesn't switch between WPA-PSK and AD. WPA is L2 wireless encryption, AD is user authentication.
