Flexconnect groups without Local Authentication

Hi to everybody

 

I need of your help, I have a lot of APs in my WLC, but I want to configure flexconnect groups, but checking in the web, for configure that, I need configure Local Authentication, but I don't want to, I want to that my authentication to be from RADIUS server. Can I configure flexconnect group without this?

 You dont need to. First, you dont neet to use Flexconnect group, you can use normal group. But, if you wnat to use Flexconnect group due some other reason, just let Local Authentication as blank.

Adding to Flavio's comments - FlexConnect supports either local or central auth so as long as you don't select "FlexConnect Local Auth" under the WLAN(s) then clients will continue to centrally auth using your WLC as the authenticator to whatever RADIUS server you have.

Yes GT,

 

Just do not select FlexConnect local authentication onthe WLAN as per the screenshot in my other post and the APs will continue to auth centrally from the WLC using the RADIUS server as normal.
