FRA Flexible Radio Assignment

Hi Fellow Mobility Engineers,

I'm working on implementing FRA and I wanted to know if this would work with 40mhz channels, or is it better to implement with 20Mhz channels?  We have a high density design in a hospital environment with 3802i APs.  Any help in appreciated

Depends.  

Under Wireless > 802.11a/n/ac > RRM > DCA (alternatively under the RRM tab of the RF Profiles used), there is an option for the Channel Width section.  In 8.1 (and later), a new option called "Best" has been added to the list.  

If the deployment of the AP is high density, I'd recommend the Channel Width option of "Best" be enabled.
