We have about 100 Flex Connect APs spread across a few dozen sites running on a dedicated Flex Connect controller. Periodically, an entire site will lose the ability to use the Guest SSID. The symptoms are:
- Client connects to Guest
- Client obtains IP address
- Client attempts to view web page
- Client does not receive the redirect to the Web Authentication page (Passthrough in this case - we are just using a disclaimer and accept button)
Rebooting the Access Points at that site fixes the problem. However, during business hours, this isn't always possible.
My question is twofold -
First, does anyone know why this would be happening and if there is a way to prevent it?
Second, once the problem does happen, is there a way to fix it without rebooting the AP?
