Guest Wireless - wrong DHCP Scope

Hi everyone - I'm a rookie with wireless so I'm hoping someone can shed some insight on this for me.

We are running 2 4404 WLC's with about 100 1131AG AP's in several remote sites using H-REAP and local switching. On our private wlan - clients obtain a DHCP lease from the remote site's local Win2K3 server.

I'm in the process of setting up an open Guest network for visitors, contractors, etc. and want to use a separate vlan and subnet to segregate this traffic. I've added the additional scopes to the Win2K3 servers, but guest clients still pull DHCP leases from the main scope.

When creating the new interface on the WLC I tagged it to the new guest vlan, and the guest WLAN is set to use that interface.

Clients located where one of the 2 4404's are physically located pull the correct DHCP lease.

Sounds like you need to go under the AP's configuration and map which VLAN you want that WLAN to dump onto.

Interestingly enough, all of my AP have the vlan mappings enabled...with the exception of the one AP I was testing on.

I'll give that a go and see how it works out. I hope it's that easy! :)
