At this time Cisco does not have any drivers for Redhat 9 and I am not sure if and when there will be any drivers for that version of Linux.

well, i don't know about the drivers...but i had the exact same problem and downgrading the card firmware to 4.25.30 cured it (really!). i had to do this on a windows box though because the linux acu won't start if it can't see the 'radio'.
now, if anybody out there can help me figure out the interaction between the acu and the linux network settings thingy i'd appreciate it...i have to bounce between the two of them several times before dhcp actually worked which is not cool.
anyway, downgrade your firmware.
