Console has Terminal monitor enable by default, you dont need to enable it.

So far, I have enabled terminal monitor on 2800/3800.
Is terminal monitor the default for 9k series?

As mentioned by Flavio term mon is already enable via line console.

but its not always feasible to console into APs, so you can enable SSH and then use the same command and run your debugs too.

use terminal monitor disable to disable the command.
