Hi,

We know the LAP will use the broadcast Layer 3 LWAPP discovery first to discover the controller, how can I disable it?

Best Regards,

Hi,

We installed access point at one dynamic interface VLAN of the controller, the access point layer 3 broadcast receive by controller and get this error ( The access point is configure static IP, not DHCP ) :

*spamApTask0: Aug 11 17:32:02.258: 00:3a:7d:5f:97:d0 Discovery Request received
on wrong VLAN '3' on interface '8',i in L3 mode, management VLAN = '0', AP Manag
er VLAN = '0', dropping the packet

Best Regards,

Jackson

Place AP on different AP management vlan. Even if it got static IP, you should be able to point it to WLC managment IP address.

Refer below post for CLI commands required

That's built into the ap as Ras mentioned you can not. Curiosity has the better of me. Why would you need to disable it ?
