Hi Guys,
I have an AP with a running image v.17.12.3
I have read that when you put the comand ap-type, the option "site-survey" should appear (https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/wireless/controller/9800/17-9/config-guide/b_wl_17_9_cg/m_access_points_survey_mode.pdf#page=1&zoom=100,60,338).
Unfortunately I only see:
capwap Switch to CAPWAP AP type
ewc-ap Switch to EWC AP type
workgroup-bridge Switch to Workgroup Bridge(WGB) AP type
I am messing something, someone knows where this is explained?
Thanks and Regards,
Jonathan

- From the link you posted and info's in https://www.jiribrejcha.net/2023/04/new-site-survey-mode-on-cisco-catalyst-wi-fi-6e-access-points/
it looks like the 9120 does not support site survey mode ,

AP model must be C9136I, CW9166I, CW9164I and CW9162I

No way... Is it possible to make this work with the embedded WLC? The idea is to perform an AP-on-a-Stick survey, so the AP must somehow function solely with PoE...
Many thanks guys!!!
