How to fetch RSSI data from controller

Hello Cisco members,

I would like to ask if obtaining RSSI data from WLC controllers is possible, for associated and/or unassociated clients?

I read some resources on the Internet which says it's doable via "Cisco Wireless Location Appliance", but in my case this is not doable, since customer cannot use this appliance.

Thanks for your help

hi,

To get the RSSI of connected clients, you will need this OID:

.1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.273.1.3.1.1.3

Thank you for the quick response. However when I use snmpwalk on WLC, it's not found:

$ snmpwalk -v2c -c communitystring 10.0.3.19 .1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.273.1.3.1.1.3
SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.9.9.273.1.3.1.1.3 = No Such Object available on this agent at this OID

Am I doing something wrong? There is currently at least 1 associated client. Sorry if this is a dumb question, I'm a little newbie to SNMP world :)

And is there a possibility to learn about unassociated clients?
