HOW TO MONITOR THE ACTIVE ANTENNAS

Hi,

We have deployed a WLC based 1702 ap network. When the AP is operating on medium power mode we need to know whether all the antennas are active in the AP.

Is there a command to identify the status of individual antenna in a controller based AP deployment.

You can use the command show ap config <radio> <ap name> which will provide a fair amount of information including administrative and operational state of the radio in question.

Alternatively with Prime Infrastructure you could set up alarms and email notifications when any of the radios or APs go down.
