Howto use mac filtering with wildcards on 4402 wlan controller?

Hi guys,

we use wlc 4402 (Software Version                 7.0.98.0) and want to allow only several wlan nic vendors to connect to a wlan ssid.

According to this, does anybody know if it's possible to configure MAC Filtering with wildcards, e.g. aa:bb:cc:* ?

Obviously the mac address field does not allow this notation, and I did not found any hint concerning this in cco and the user guides.

Hi,

As far as the current latest code is concerned we do not have this feature implemented yet on the WLC based design, we have this on Autonomous based... We have raised a enhancement request to fix trhis and this will be present in the coming release!! I hope this answered ur question..
