Hello,
The "User idle timeout" value is 300 seconds (5 minutes) by default.
It can be configured from WLC GUI under Controller tab -> General.
or from CLI
(WLC5508) > config network usertimeout ?

Session timeout is applied regardless of the state of the client if it is idle or not. This is configurable per WLAN. different WLANs may have different session timeout set.
Idle-user timeout is applied to a clients that detected to be idle for the specified period. This is set globally and affect all WLANs.

Session timeout is kind of WLAN security feature to frequently check the client authenticity, it forces the client to deauthenticate once it expired so that the client will reauthenticate, it is applicable for L2/L3 security combination and also WLAN with no security.
Wireless client connected AP's Controller will control the user idle & session timer.
In guest anchor scenario both user idle and session timeout is controllerd and managed by Foreign controller. Same applicable In Layer 3 roaming.
