Image file size is smaller

Hello,

I want to upgrade my access point AP2802 ME from 8.3.102 to 8.6.101. Cisco provided me the .ZIP but I have a problem when I make the upgrade I have the message "Error, image file size is smaller than image + key + signature 0x02dac0f9: 0xdcaf495e".
I tried to convert to CAPWAP before making the upgrade, tip that I read on the Internet, but I have the same concern.
Here is the command I entered "archive download-sw / reload tftp: //192.xx.xx.xx/ap1g4".

I recall it being a *.tar file.  Are you giving it the whole tar file?

Thank you. I am far from an expert in Cisco. So I followed the tutorials on the Internet.
I received a ZIP file that I unzipped, in there are 9 files. I put all these files on my TFTP server and I download the ap1g4 file. It weighs 47 MB.

The "archive" command normally works with archives. Trying giving it the zip file instead.

I tried with the full ZIP and I converted to TAR too, but it's still the same. Here is the message:

AP00A3.8E3F.827E#archive download-sw /reload tftp://192.xx.xx.xx/AIR-AP2800-K9-ME-8-6-101-0.tar
ash: write error: No space left on device

do PREDOWNLOAD, part1 is active part
tar: write error: No space left on device
sh: write error: No space left on device

Error, image file size is smaller than image+key+signature 0x02dac0f9 : 0xdcaf495e
Segmentation fault (core dumped)

Error: '/etc/capwap-upgrade.sh PREDOWNLOAD' failure.

It says you have ran out of space "No space left on device".

You need to clean up the flash file system.

can you tell me the command please

Well, this will show you what is in the flash:

dir flash:
If you identify some things you can remove then use the "delete" command to delete them.

Thank you,

How did you resolve this?

The only tip I read about is: "convert to non-ME barbados". But it doesn't say how to convert to non-ME. I got AP2802i's.
