Impact of a reboot of two WLC 5508 running on verison 8.3.112.0 in SSO mode

Hello,

I need to reboot my WLC in order to take count of my new AP license.
Before doing it I need to know what it the impact of a reboot (both)

Also when I do an upgrade, approximately how much downtime is expected?

If your code version is not changing, you can issue a force-switchover which would reboot the active and the standby will become active. Then you wait for the pair to sync and then issue another force-switchover so that the other controller reboots. This way there is no downtime.
