Hi All,
Our server team is getting reports in their monitoring system that our virtual WLC is under CPU stress. I don't see high utilization but they want to add an additional vCPU to the controller. I know how to do this in VMware, by shutting down the VM, changing CPU and powering on but are there any special considerations that we need to watch out for?
I don't see any info on this in the cisco docs about this.
Thanks,
Mike

Are you sure it is the VM under CPU stress, as opposed to the physical host running out of grunt?

they seem pretty convinced it's the CPU of the VM. I don't have access to check the stats, I assumed they did

Can anyone provide info on this?
