Are there any plans to release an indoor ruggedized Wi-Fi 7 access point, in addition to the fully indoor range that has an external antenna connection option?
What I am thinking about is something to replace a 2802E or 9120AXE for example, and it being a straight swap out. It will not typically be used fully outdoor but needs to be ruggedized for an industrial environment. Ideally it would clip into the same standard Cisco bracket and is no greater than 2kg to save any additional install costs.
I understand the current working out of 6Ghz regulations for outdoor ruggedized access points may be stopping development in this space, but I still think there is a market for that type of device and other vendors have options.
Can someone give us some pointers on planned future developments please?
