I am trying to set up a 1310 bridge link, and currently have the devices set up in my office. I have not recieved the external dish antennas, so I am trying to use some 2.2 dB dipoles just to get them configured. The problem I am having is that they will not associate. I have verified my SSID, and am not using any WEP or EAP. I have configured them to use an external antenna, and set it to the right/primary. Am I just out of luck using the 2.2 antenna?

How far are the bridges? Did you set the distance parameter? (i.e. In GUI, "NETWORK INTERFACES", "Dot11Radio-802.11x", "SETTINGS", and go to very bottom for distance)
I have a 1310 wireless bridge without integrated antenna. I connect a 2.2db dipoles on it. It associates to a 1310 wireless bridge with integrated antenna without problem. Of course, these two bridges are a few feet away.
I suggest you to do the followings:
1. configure one of the 1310 wireless bridges as root.
2. Under the current software release, the 1310 always broadcast SSID; even though you do not enable guest SSID. You use a Window XP laptop or Airmagnet to find out if you can detect the SSID.
3. Do 1 and 2 for the other 1310 wireless bridges
I suspect that you have a faulty bridge.

I figured it out, I did not assign a infrastructure SSID.

I suggest you to use "Express Setup" and "Express Security Setup" next time.
