Hello -
I have a Cisco M20 Valet Plus wireless router (from 2013). I also have a new Arris Surfboard modem (SB6190) - my ISP is Comcast.
For the last month or so, my wireless Internet connection has gone from full access to limited access. While in limited access, I could use my VOIP phone (which is connected to the wifi router), access Google and Amazon, but most sites were unreachable.
Note: This originally happened w/an older Arris Surfboard modem, which was at "End of life" - so I upgraded to the SB6190 - and the issue continues.
I've called Comcast numerous times to have them reset my modem. Once that is done, I have full access again...for a handful of hours, when it drops to limited access. Call Comcast to reset modem...rinse and repeat.
I've talked myself blue in the face w/them. Since I don't rent the equipment from them, they tell me that I need to contact Cisco. However, since they no longer support that router, they referred me to this forum.
